Plant Manager

Position Summary	This individual is responsible for carrying out the everyday responsibilities of a mold base team. The team includes Shift Leaders, Machinist, Programmers, and Assembly. Specific focus on quality, efficiency, and on–time delivery.
Principle Responsibilities	Oversees the day-to-day operation of the mold base production in accordance to QCT (quality, cost, time/delivery) model. Best quality, at the lowest cost with on time delivery. Drives the team's performance to ensure key performance indicators (KPI's) meet or exceed company goals including but not limited spindle utilization, on time delivery, machining efficiency, scrap and rework. Ensures the company’s safety policies and procedures are followed. Trains, advises, answers questions and counsels employees on current CNC Mill production methods, bench hand assembly, tapping, deburring, and shipping. Ensure quality requirements are met and that corrective actions are identified and implemented. Completes production plan by scheduling and assigning personnel. Ensures production targets are achieved. Establishes machining priorities, monitors progress, revises schedules, resolves problems, reporting results on shift production summaries.
Skills Required	Experience as a Lead CNC Machinist and or Lead Programmer, Supervision of Machinists. Possesses the skills necessary to utilize a vast range of measuring and inspection equipment. Must be able to read and interpret CAD drawings. Complete understanding of Mold Base assembly and components. Advanced knowledge of CAD/CAM software (MasterCam), SolidWorks, and CamWorks. Advanced programming knowledge; tool selection, tool path generation, editing, and posting of cuter paths.

Job Summary	Responsible for the administration of the company’s quality management system and all process improvement efforts across the organization. Plastics, injection mold experience preferred
Positions Supervised	Quality Assurance Technician, Mold Base Inspector, and Maintenance Technician.
Principle Responsibilities	Understand quality standards and concepts, implement organizational assessments and maintain customer satisfaction and focus. Develop processes to ensure quality, cost and efficiency requirements are met. Design, install and evaluate quality assurance process sampling systems, procedures and statistical techniques; design or specify inspection and testing mechanisms and equipment; analyze production and service limitations and standards; recommend revision of specifications when indicated; formulate or help formulate quality assurance policies and procedures. Conduct training on quality assurance concepts and tools. Interface with other components within the company and responsibility for dealing with customers and suppliers on quality related or performance issues. Provide quality assurance advice to Executive Management, Engineering and Production Supervisors. Coordinate and schedule internal and external quality audits and report results to executive management in order to assess the effectiveness of the quality system and maintain the ISO certification status. Ensure incoming and outgoing quality are maintained and/or improved on by using direct and indirect authority provided in position description. Manage metrology and quality activities within the organization according to provisions of the position description including, but not limited to, establishing and maintaining a calibration system appropriate to the type, range and volume of calibration and testing undertaken. Ensure incoming materials conform to quality expectations. Work with Purchasing to ensure conformance to the supplier performance tracking process. Assist in the training of personnel for requirements of process and incoming product inspection. Design, implement and maintain appropriate process controls. Produce and maintain written quality standards and procedures which conform to quality expectations, engineering specifications, customer requirements and specific applicable industry standards including military and ISO standards. Manage quality improvement / lean activities and projects company-wide. Conduct reliability studies and report findings along with suggested improvements. Job Summery	Responsible for performing a variety of accounting functions in accordance with established policies, procedures, and regulations. Job Summary	Uses Mastercam CAD/CAM software to interpret, detail and note customer supplied CAD drawings used in the development of CNC tool cutter paths / programs. Dimension special mold base frame assemblies; alert customers to potential machining / functionality issues and communicate a proactive solution, generate production work order routings including BOM, determine outsource requirements and communicate the appropriate information to vendors. Maintain CAD files and all relevant information related to individual customer order. Interact with JDE Business software to check the availability of stock and generate production work orders.
Principle Responsibilities	Uses computer equipment and Mastercam software to analyze and develop detailed production drawings. Utilize knowledge of CNC machining applications, mold base components and assembly procedures to create CAD models used for special mold base production. Notes customer required machining, tolerances and identifies questionable machining situations, contact appropriate vendor(s) for outsource machining operations. Interact with JDE Business software to develop production work orders and assist the BOM creation.
